Probates wills; collects back taxes; keeps records of Morgan County Chancery Court (handles divorces, adoptions, worker's compensation, guardianship, partition, conservativeships and trusts, contract debts, boundary line disputes and miscellaneous civil suits). The Clerk and Masters Office is on the first floor of the Courthouse. The Clerk and Master is appointed.
