Gary Howard has been Morgan County's Director of Finance since 2002. He previously served as a Financial Analyst for Union Planters Bank. He and his staff are responsible for all the county's purchasing, payroll, budgeting, accounting and cash financial management. The Finance Office administers the finances for all funds handled by the Trustee. He also assists other county officials with their budgets and in achieving an efficient financial management system. The Director is hired by the County Commission's Finance Committee.
